How to Use Chnain

This guide explains the main study flow, progress tracking, XP, CP, and cloud sync.

1. Start here

Create a semester, then add your subjects in the Planner.
Open each subject to add chapters, resources, and an exam date if you have one.
Use the Planner as your map of what is left to study and practice.

2. Daily study flow

Go to Pomodoro, choose a subject, and follow the suggested next chapter when available.
Start a focus session, then let the app move you into a break when the timer ends.
After each session, come back and mark lesson or exercise progress so your planner stays accurate.

3. Track progress

Subjects with exercises are only fully completed when both the lesson and exercises are marked done.
Course-only subjects are completed when the lesson part is done.
Use Analytics for totals and trends, and Leaderboard to compare sessions and XP.

4. How XP works

Important: Select a subject before starting focus. Sessions without a subject do not award XP.

Focus sessions give 2 XP per study minute.
Completing a chapter gives 20 XP when the subject has exercises, or 10 XP for a course-only subject.
Reaching your configured daily goal of sessions gives a one-time 30 XP bonus that day.
Your first study session of the day can also trigger a streak bonus: 15 XP per extra streak day, up to 90 XP.
Each new level needs more XP. Level 1 to Level 2 needs 600 XP, and the requirement increases by 140 XP each level.

5. Companion Points (CP)

What is CP? CP is a rare currency used to buy mascot looks and Streak Freezes. It is separate from XP and very hard to earn.

Complete your daily study goal → +1 CP
Level up your companion → +2 CP
Reach a streak milestone (3, 7, 14, or 30 days) → +3 / +7 / +14 / +30 CP
Unlock a badge → +5 CP
Spend CP in the Mascot Shop inside Settings to unlock looks for Chnaino.

6. Offline and sync

You can study offline. Your data is stored on this device even without an account.
Sign in from Settings if you want backup and sync across devices.
Use Sync Status and Sync Now in Settings to check whether cloud changes are uploaded.
